Six shades from the battlefields of the Middle East: Israeli gray, two desert sands, a green and two tones of Lebanese units.
Responsibility details are not available.
Few regions have seen as many coats of paint on armored equipment as the Middle East. Israeli vehicles went from early sandy tones through the sandy gray of the 1970s and 1980s as far as the current gray that modernized machines carry. Beside them, units of Lebanese formations with shades of their own moved about the terrain.
The package sums this range up. The first bottle holds the modern gray tone, the second the sandy gray connected with the equipment of the 1970s and 1980s, the third an earlier sandy yellow. The fourth adds a green, the fifth a blue and the sixth another green, both tied to Lebanese units. Anyone building a diorama from the 1980s will manage with one package for several vehicles of different sides of the conflict.
These are water-based acrylics in bottles of a volume of 17 ml. Large hull surfaces are applied with an airbrush, small equipment with a brush. The desert shades take, and indeed call for, subsequent dusting, because in dry terrain every surface shifts toward a lighter tone within a few days.
The range can be mixed within itself and so create transitions between generations of coats, which comes in useful with machines that received a new spray only in part during their service. The gray and the sandy tones also go well with oil filters, with which differently painted parts are unified.
For building a vehicle of one side it is not necessary to reach for the whole package. The individual bottles hold on their own and are enough even for models in small scales, where the consumption for one machine tends to be minimal.
