A modeling chisel from the Model Chisel line by Master Tools (Trumpeter). It has a flat, square blade 3 mm wide that cuts a groove with a straight bottom. It suits engraving straight panel lines, scraping and leveling surfaces, cleaning up molded engraving and removing excess material. The letter F marks the flat profile and the number the blade size within this line; the F3 is the widest of the flat chisels.
For modelers who fine-tune panel lines and surface detail and prefer a blade with a straight bottom. For finer work, reach for the narrower sizes of the flat line; the F3 is the most useful of them on wider lines and larger areas.
The blade is hard and sharp, so work with care and guide it away from your body. Keep out of reach of children.
