Moss Green, that is, moss green, leans in its name on the RAL 6005 chip from the RAL chart. It is a dark, fairly rich green that can be compared by the number of the chip with the paints of other manufacturers and with real finishes. On a model dark greens easily look flat, so it pays to grade the base coat: lighten the middle of large areas slightly, leave the edges and recesses darker and mist the transitions with a light coat of the original shade.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use, so that the settled pigment is mixed in. Apply it to a clean, dry and degreased surface; on smooth plastic the coat holds more reliably over a primer coat. Proceed in several thin coats and let the paint dry between them, otherwise the fine details of the surface will be lost. Choose the thinner and the ratio of thinning according to the instructions of the manufacturer on the packaging, that is, the thinner intended for this range. Close the container carefully after the work and wipe the rim, so that the lid comes off easily next time.
The paint suits builders of military vehicles and equipment in dark green finishes and also modelers who need a rich green with an unambiguous chart designation. It can be used both as an overall finish and as a dark tone for shaded parts.
The paint in the stated shade is supplied on its own. A thinner, brushes, an airbrush, glue and a model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. Verify the volume of the package and its place in the color range by the item code before you buy.
