A crew of painters in white coveralls, together with scaffolding, drums of paint and smaller cans. A complete scene of a facade repair for a layout in a ratio of 1:87.

This set brings more than figures. Besides the men in white painters' coveralls it includes white scaffolding, drums of paint and smaller cans, so a finished working scene arises on a layout rather than just a few isolated figures. That is also the reason why the package is richer than with ordinary sets of figures.
Station buildings, warehouses and the houses next to them need a coat of paint just as the real ones do. A facade under work explains to a viewer why one wall is lighter than the others, why crates stand by the wall or why a piece of sidewalk is fenced off. The set is made to a ratio of 1:87, which modelers know under the abbreviation HO, so the scaffolding matches the height of the usual station buildings.
It is strongest when the work looks half done: one man up at the cornice, a second mixing at a drum, a third carrying a can along the ground. Set the scaffolding slightly away from the wall and add planks to it, or a drop of dried paint on the paving.
The white of the figures and of the structure is rewarding to work on further: a thin coat of a gray or brown weathered shade in the joints is enough and the scaffolding stops reading as fresh plastic. Make the stains on the coveralls with a few touches of a brush in the shade the wall beside them is painted in, and the eye will connect the two at once.
