This is a modeling tool, not a kit. It is used for bending photo-etched parts precisely, the kind used as fine details on plastic models, vehicles, aircraft and ships. The tool clamps the fret firmly along the chosen edge and lets you create a straight, sharp bend at an exact angle without the thin metal rippling or deforming. It is a robust metal design with a slot for holding the part. The M (medium) size is a universal compromise between small and large parts.

Use

• Place the fret under the clamping bar so that the intended bend line is flush with the edge of the tool.
• Clamp the part firmly and fold the other edge upward, which produces a straight, sharp crease.
• Suitable for straight bends and for forming angles, box-shaped parts, brackets and frames.
• After bending, sand off the burrs and glue with cyanoacrylate glue.
