About product

Pigment gel - medium earth (Sira Hobby)

A ready-made paste weathering product from a Czech maker in a universal, medium-rich earth shade. The gel is dense and covers well; it is applied straight from the container and creates dust and mud effects on vehicles, figures and in dioramas. It is water-thinnable and odorless, and until it dries it can be corrected. The container holds 20 ml.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush in light touches, and with a spatula for a thicker layer of mud.
  • Medium earth is versatile and suits running gear, bodies, tracks and kit alike.
  • For it to run into joints and corners, moisten the surface in advance with water and a little detergent.
  • Spreading it produces dusting, and the excess is taken off with a clean brush or a cotton bud.
  • Use its body for thick mud, and thin the gel with water for fine dust.

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles, figures and dioramas who are looking for a quick, realistic patina without working with loose pigments.

Keep out of the reach of children. Stir before use. Water-thinnable, odorless.
