Plague Ground – Wargame Terrains – 100 ml is an AK interactive texture paste with which you cover a figure base or the surface of a small scene and get a surface with relief of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
Plague Ground belongs to the Wargame Terrains range from AK interactive. It is a thick texture paste that is applied straight onto a surface and, once dry, holds the relief you give it while applying. The volume of 100 ml is stated in the name and is the same across this whole range.
How the paste is worked
The material is picked up with a spatula, a plastic card or an older brush with shortened bristles and spread across the area. The resulting texture depends above all on how you guide the tool and how hard you press. Short taps create a grainy, broken surface, while a longer stroke gives a calmer one. It pays to build the layer up gradually, in thinner applications, because a heavy layer applied all at once is harder to shape. While the material is fresh, small stones, grit or pieces of growth can be pressed into it and the texture thus tied in with other diorama materials.
The Wargame Terrains range was created for players and collectors of figures who want their bases finished quickly and still consistent across a whole unit. It will also serve a classic modeler building a small diorama who needs a surface with character under a model. Working with it calls for no special equipment; a spatula and a little patience when layering are enough.
Judge the particular shade against the manufacturer's information on the package.
Close the container carefully after work, so that the material does not dry out, and work in a ventilated room. Keep out of the reach of children.
