PLD-EB Collection Book For Super Corgi Butts

DSPIAE PLD-EB Collection Book, an album for Super Corgi Butts test pieces

An album from DSPIAE meant for storing sprayed test pieces of the Super Corgi Butts range. It is not a paint, a kit or a tool for building, but an aid for order among paints. The test pieces onto which you spray the individual shades are stored side by side in it, so that you gradually build a color chart of your own covering the paints you actually have at home.

Why sprayed samples pay off

Paint in the bottle and paint sprayed and dried on a surface look different. A shade is changed by its coverage, by the thickness of the coat and by the varnish that goes over it. Anyone who sprays a sample and labels it can choose next time by the real result instead of hunting for a shade by trial on the model. With paints from different ranges that have similar names, a sample of one's own is often the only reliable way of telling them apart.

The album settles what usually follows the spraying of samples: a pile of loose pieces that roll about on the bench and end up in a drawer in no order at all. In a folder they stay together, can be set side by side and two close shades can be compared against each other.

Use

• storing sprayed shade test pieces in one place
• keeping a clear range of your own covering the paints you have at home
• comparing two close shades against each other before painting a model
• keeping order in a paint collection that has grown beyond one shelf

Who the album is for

For modelers who have a larger quantity of paints at home and want a system among their shades. It will be valued chiefly by those who spray with an airbrush and mix shades of their own, because for them the result cannot be repeated later without a sample.

The Super Corgi Butts test pieces themselves are separate items, in a clear, a black and a white version. Paints and varnish are not part of the album.
