Responsibility details are not available.
The item belongs among accessories for dioramas and is a model of a small fortified observation structure. It is not a kit of a vehicle and not a standalone cabinet model but a scenic element: an accessory that gives a diorama scale, cover for figures and a natural visual center. The material of the part, its dimensions and the number of pieces are not stated here, so check these details before buying.
Observation bunkers were low concrete or masonry structures with narrow vision slits, serving to watch the surroundings and to direct fire. On a diorama they fill a similar role to the one they had in the field: they form a fixed point to which the roads, the trenches, the figures and the vehicles all relate. Thanks to its small footprint it suits even smaller scenes, where a whole building would take up too much room.
Never place a bunker straight onto a flat board. First lay out the terrain, work the base of the structure into the groundwork and only then finish the surrounding surface, so that the structure reads as sunk into the ground rather than stood on top of it. Concrete surfaces are painted from a darker base toward lighter coats from above, followed by a dark wash into the joints and a dry brush on the edges. Damp staining, a greenish growth at the foot of the structure and fine dust sprayed from below make a scene credible at once. If the model is not plastic, expect to glue it with cyanoacrylate glue or with a dispersion filler and to have to free the surface of dust and seal it with primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue, material for the terrain and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
