Ten magnetic rectangles 50x75 mm for the bases of vehicles, horse-drawn transport and multi-figure scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 50x75 mm size is usually found under the board on which a whole small scene stands: a pair of figures by a fire, a motorcycle with a sidecar or a heap of crates. Under such a board a magnet behaves differently than under a single figure, because the load is not concentrated into one point but spread over an area.
It is with multi-figure groups that a mounting which can be parted at any time pays off. You move the same board from a display case to the steel base of a photo setup and back without touching the model. Anyone building several backdrops for one group then changes them in a moment.
The pack carries ten pieces, which at this area follows the practice of the whole range: the larger the format, the fewer the parts. Before you start gluing, plan how many boards you want to fit out; the remaining pieces also suit holding small trays or tabs on the steel wall of a workshop.
Level the bottom of the board and scrape off any residue of plaster or modeling putty. Lay the magnet in the center and press it down over its whole area; with a thin wooden board it helps to sand the surface before gluing so the glue has something to grip. Weighting it down with a couple of books for a few minutes evens the joint out.
A steel plate, a case with a magnetic insert and the bases themselves are not supplied with the magnets. Kits, figures and glue likewise remain a separate item.
