Plastruct Rectangular Strip 0.5 x 4.0 mm (250 mm long)

A precisely extruded plastic (polystyrene) profile of rectangular section 0.5 x 4.0 mm and 250 mm long. It is not a kit but a modeling material for making things yourself (scratch-building) and filling in detail. The flat white polystyrene is easy to cut, sand and glue.

Use

Wide flat bands, cladding and covering large surfaces and gaps.
Making your own parts and panels and replacing missing detail.
Work in model railroading, architecture and on plastic models.

Usage tips

Cut with a sharp modeling knife and level the ends with abrasive paper. Glue with liquid cement for polystyrene, which welds the surface of the joint. Lay down a primer before painting for even coverage.
