Reddish Grey is an acrylic modeling paint of the 3rd Generation range from AK interactive: a gray broken toward red, thinnable with water.
Responsibility details are not available.
An acrylic shade from the 3rd Generation range. It is not a pure gray: an admixture of red makes it a warm tone that suits everywhere a neutral gray would look dead. The paint is thinnable with water and is an acrylic, not a lacquer or an oil; AK interactive uses the same shade names in other ranges with different chemistry, so go by the range.
This shade is at its strongest in mixing. A few drops shift a neutral gray toward warmth without tinting it pink, and in the same way they calm reds and oranges that are too saturated. Work in small amounts and mix on a palette, not in the bottle itself: warm grays tip over into pink easily and come back badly. On the model work in thin coats; warm tones settle unevenly in one heavy coat and the brush strokes then show. Shake the bottle well before use.
For figure painters, diorama builders and modelers who mix their own shades and need a tool for steering the color temperature of gray areas.
An acrylic paint. Keep it out of the reach of children, ventilate while spraying and protect your airways.
