Russian Blue - Quick Gen Color is a water-thinnable AK interactive acrylic paint in a muted blue shade for figures and gaming models.
Responsibility details are not available.
Russian Blue is a muted blue pulled toward gray, from the Quick Gen Color range. It is a water-thinnable acrylic for figures and gaming models. Muted blues are harder to mix than saturated shades, because it is easy to push them into purple or into gray, and that is exactly why it pays to keep the paint in the bottle always mixed the same way.
A stainless steel ball in the bottle cuts the stirring from minutes to tens of seconds and, above all, gives you an audible check. If you hear a loose rattle when you shake, the ball is moving and the paint is fluid. When the ball does not ring, or you hear only a dull thud, it is sitting in stiff sediment and you have to keep shaking. Choose a ball of stainless steel or glass, never of ordinary steel, because that rusts in a water-based dispersion and rust pigment tints every light shade. Put the ball in dry and clean. A handful of extra balls makes no sense; two or three are enough and the surplus only takes up the volume of paint in the bottle.
For figure modelers and players who need a quiet blue with no bright cast, usable as a shadow under lighter tones as well.
Store in a closed bottle out of reach of children, do not inhale the aerosol when spraying and work in a ventilated room.
