SILICONE BRUSHES MEDIUM TIP MEDIUM (5 SILICONE PENCILS)

AK interactive Silicone Brushes - Medium Tip, Medium (manufacturer AK Interactive)

The set contains 5 silicone pencils (known as color shapers) with silicone tips of medium hardness in the medium size. These are not classic brushes with bristles: the working tip is of flexible silicone with which you shape, smooth and blend modeling compound, putty or paint, without picking them up as you would with an ordinary brush. Medium hardness is the universal choice between soft blending and more precise shaping; the larger size makes work on more extensive areas easier.

Use

• Shaping and smoothing modeling putties and two-part compounds (epoxy putties, Milliput, Green Stuff, Sculpey or Fimo).
• Creating textures and surfaces: texturing, imitating fabrics, muddy or earthy areas.
• Blending and applying oil glazes, washes and pigments on the surfaces of a model.
• The medium tip size is easy to control in ordinary modeling work as well as on larger areas.

Who it is for

For modelers and figure painters who work with putties, make conversions, texture surfaces or weather with oil paints and pigments. The medium size is the universal choice for everyday work.

Wash the silicone tips gently with water and soap after use; water or alcohol can be used as a release agent to keep the compound from sticking. Paints, putties and other materials are not included in the package.
