Tamiya XF-73 Dark Green (JGSDF) is a matte acrylic model paint of 10 ml, the dark green of modern equipment of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and not a shade from the Second World War. It is a paint, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A dark green Tamiya model paint from the Acrylic MINI range in a 10 ml bottle. You are buying the paint alone, and it is not a kit. The finish is determined by the letter in the designation: the X range dries to a gloss and the XF range to a matte. XF-73 is therefore matte, as befits military equipment.
The abbreviation JGSDF stands for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, that is the postwar and present-day Japanese army. It is not a color from the Second World War; it is a shade of modern Japanese ground equipment, as the manufacturer states himself. If you are building a Japanese tank or gun from the years 1939 to 1945, this paint is not the right one for you; it is aimed at equipment of the last few decades.
It is applied with a brush and with an airbrush. For spraying, use X-20A acrylic thinner; the thinner X-20 is for enamel paints and does not belong with this acrylic paint. On the large areas of a vehicle hull, spray several thin coats rather than one heavy one, as you avoid the paint running into the detail and the finish stays even.
For modelers of modern military equipment and collectors of Japanese postwar vehicles who want a shade matching the real subject.
Apply it in a well ventilated space and use respiratory protection when spraying. Store out of the reach of children.
