VMS Spot-On Pigment No. 25 Black Steel Metallic

A dry pigment (colored powder) from VMS with metallic particles in a dark steel shade. Black Steel Metallic serves to imitate polished metal, burnished steel and a metallic sheen on exposed edges, tracks and mechanically loaded places.

Use

It is applied dry and a metallic sheen is drawn out by lightly burnishing it with a brush or a finger.
It is fixed with a pigment fixative or binder; expect the sheen to drop slightly after fixing.
Ideal for the edges of tracks, cutting edges, latches, worn metal surfaces and step plates.
It is combined with rust and soot shades for realistic wear.

For modelers who want a quick and convincing effect of polished metal without using a covering metallic paint.

This is a fine powder with metal particles. Work in a well-ventilated area, do not breathe the pigment in and protect your eyes.

Fixing holds the pigment in place but can reduce the metallic sheen slightly, so choose it carefully and apply it thinly.
