Polak ballast size N – Spilite 2 (200 g)

Natural crushed ballast from the Czech manufacturer Polak made of spilite rock (variant 2), graded to the fine grain size N and packed in 200 g. It is a scenic accessory for building dioramas and model landscapes – it is not a kit. The grain size N matches the smallest model scales, where a fine, unobtrusive bed is needed.

Use

• the trackbed (ballasting the track) on a model railroad of size N
• loose tracks, embankments and stony terrain on dioramas
• completing rocky and gravelly areas
• it is scattered into a layer of glue, or fixed with thinned PVA glue

Who it is for

For railroad modelers in N scale and for diorama builders who want a natural material with a realistic color and texture. Spilite gives a greenish gray tone; variant 2 differs in shade from the basic spilite range.
