1:72 British Lee Enfield rifle set (10pcs)

British Lee Enfield rifle set 1:72, 10 pieces (Hauler)

This is an add-on set of ten resin models of the British Lee Enfield infantry rifle in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Hauler, completed with small photo-etched parts. The set serves for arming figures and for bringing dioramas to life; it is neither a model nor a kit of a vehicle or an aircraft.

The real subject

The Lee Enfield was a British bolt-action repeating rifle and one of the most widespread small arms of the British and allied armies in both world wars. It was marked by a turning bolt action and a box magazine.

Use

• Carefully separate the resin parts from the casting blocks and clean them up.
• Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); place the fine photo-etched elements with tweezers.
• Apply a base coat (primer) before painting; distinguish the wood and the metal by shade and bring them out with a wash.
• Put the weapons into the hands of figures or place them around the scene (racks, crates).

Who the set is for

• Builders of dioramas and figure scenes in 1:72 scale.
• Collectors of British and Allied equipment of both world wars.
• Modelers who want to give figures realistic armament.

It is an add-on set in resin and photo-etched parts. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package.
