Responsibility details are not available.
A set of universal masking templates in the shape of straight stripes in the middle width range. It follows on from the narrower range and covers widths from 2.6 to 4.5 mm stepping up by tenths of a millimeter, that is twenty different variants. Each stripe measures 200 mm in length. These widths suit above all the places where a line on the model is meant to read clearly — identification and invasion stripes in larger scales, wide dividing edges of camouflage and decorative lines on car bodies.
Transfer the stripe with tweezers and lay it down in one pass. Rather replace a stripe laid down crooked than shift it — the adhesive will no longer hold as well and the edge will blur. On rounded surfaces stretch the stripe slightly and press it down gradually from the center toward the edges. The base has to be smooth, dry and degreased. A proven procedure is to mist the edge of the mask first with the color that is underneath it; any gap is sealed and the line comes out perfectly sharp. Apply the paint in thin coats and lift the mask off shortly after it has dried, pulling back at an angle along the line. For narrower lines there is a companion set of smaller widths.
For modelers who build aircraft with prominent identification stripes in larger scales, for builders of cars and motorcycles with racing markings, and for everyone who prefers a precise ready-made template to measuring and cutting tape against a ruler.
The package holds masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
