An entertaining plastic kit from the Japanese Tokoro George range from the manufacturer Fujimi. The Co-Porsche 360 set captures a small sports car in deliberately shortened, charmingly deformed proportions. It is therefore not a classic scale model but a light-hearted kit, whose main aim is the joy of building and a witty result on a shelf.
The Tokoro George range is named after a well known Japanese television personality and car lover, and is marked out by a playful take on well known vehicles. The bodies are squeezed into compact shapes with big wheels and pronounced details, so the finished model comes across as a likeable caricature of a real car. The Co-Porsche 360 set refers to the small sports cars of the classic era.
The build is simple and the parts are few, so beginners can manage it too. The model will show to advantage in a glossy finish in a cheerful color, and details such as the lights and bumpers only need painting in with a brush. Help smaller children while they work with glue, or dry-fit the parts first and glue them together.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
