A transport box of sanded plywood 3.6 mm thick, supplied as a laser-cut set of parts to be assembled. The internal space measures approximately 390 x 390 x 185 mm, so it will take a model with a larger span than the smallest sizes of the range will manage. Inside, the model is anchored so it does not shift in transport and does not rub against the walls.
When to reach for the larger size
What decides is the span and the height of the finished model with its landing gear and propellers, not the scale in itself. It pays to measure the model including the antennas and the gun barrels and to add a margin for the anchoring. The internal height of 185 mm gives room even for types with a tall vertical tail or with tall landing gear.
For modelers who take their work to competitions, and for collectors who have run out of room in a display case. The smaller size of the same range is enough for a single-engine type, while this one suits cases where the model overhangs. Assembly takes one evening, and it is worth bearing in mind that the plywood is best freed of dust from the cut before gluing.
The box is supplied unassembled and unfinished, and a model is not included in the package. Measure the span, the length and the height of your finished model before buying.
