TS-52 Candy Lime Green, spray for plastic models, 100 ml

A synthetic lacquer in a spray can of one hundred milliliters, intended for plastic models. The word candy means that it is a translucent paint, not an opaque one. On its own it will not cover the base, so it is applied over a metallic base, usually silver, which shows through it and gives the finish depth and sparkle. Over a white or gray base the shade comes out flat and dull.

Work tips

First apply a smooth metallic base and let it dry. Shake the spray thoroughly before use and spray from a distance of about twenty-five centimeters in several thin coats. The intensity grows with every coat, so work slowly and check as you go, otherwise the shade will darken more than you wanted. Uneven thickness shows far more with a translucent paint than with an opaque one. Details can be painted in enamel or acrylic once it has dried.
