The medium green Medium Green FS34102 Satin from Lifecolor is a water-based acrylic paint, and in the American Southeast Asia camouflage it stands between the dark green and the brown.
Responsibility details are not available.
A green tone halfway between the dark green and the brown carries both the number of the American Federal Standard and a satin gloss level. The binder is acrylic, water-based.
Three colors meet in the American Southeast Asia camouflage: the dark green, this medium green and the brown. The middle tone has a thankless but crucial role, for it holds the whole scheme together and decides whether the camouflage looks believable or falls apart into three unrelated blotches. On a model it proves worthwhile to apply it second in order, after the dark green, and to leave the transitions soft rather than sharply bounded. At the same time the medium green works well on its own as a base for modulation: it is dark enough to hold volume and light enough for fine transitions to show on it.
It suits modelers who assemble a whole camouflage scheme by standard numbers and want the individual tones to follow on from one another. It is applied with the brush and the airbrush alike.
Keep it out of the reach of children, work in a ventilated room and stir the contents before use.
