Responsibility details are not available.
A light gray shade of the Royal Navy from the Lifecolor acrylic range. The designation with the letter B refers to the period group of British naval shades in which the grays are tuned toward blue; B20 is the light one among them. The paint is acrylic, water-based.
Two families of British grays
British ships of the Second World War did not wear one set of shades. Beside the Admiralty grays marked with the number 507 there is also a group with the letter B that pulls toward blue and was used in camouflage schemes with more pronounced contrast. The difference matters for a model: if you put a hull painted in an Admiralty gray next to a hull in a blue-gray tone, you have two different moods. Choose by the scheme rather than by feel, then, and keep the shade over the whole vertical surface down to the waterline.
For modelers of British ships who build camouflage schemes with pronounced contrast and need a light blue-gray tone, not an Admiralty gray. It will find use with cruisers, destroyers and smaller escort units.
Keep out of the reach of children, work with good ventilation and close the container carefully after use.
