US Non Chromate Epoxy Primer (Mr.Paint)

A green shade from the lacquer range of Mr.Paint, which reproduces the color of the modern American non-chromate epoxy primer. This yellowish green anti-corrosion base protects the internal structure of current American military aircraft and is often seen in landing gear bays, on internal surfaces and under the topcoat. Important: this is a modeling opaque paint reproducing that shade, not a working two-part primer. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with fine pigment, good coverage and quick drying to a smooth matte surface.

Use

• Intended for an airbrush; the paint is ready for spraying directly and usually needs no thinning.
• If need be, it is thinned with this brand's lacquer thinner, not with water.
• Suited to landing gear bays, internal surfaces and the base green tone of modern American aircraft.
• It is applied in thin coats to a cleaned surface; on a model it plays the role of paint, not of a protective base.
• Once dry it takes picking out of details with a wash and a dry brush.

For modelers of modern American military subjects who want a faithful shade of the non-chromate epoxy primer and work with an airbrush and lacquer paints. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily intended for the brush.
