A modeling paint in the American shade Olive Drab in its earlier form. It belongs to the Orange Line range by the brand Hataka.
Responsibility details are not available.
Olive Drab is the basic shade of the American army of the Second World War period, a muted olive green with a brown cast. The overwhelming majority of ground vehicles carried it, from trucks through guns to tanks, and it appeared on the upper surfaces of aircraft and on equipment as well. The word Early in the name sets apart the earlier form of the shade, because the American olive shifted over the course of the war and moreover faded quickly on the machines.
The paint serves above all as an overall base for vehicles and artillery. Because the real subject was of one color, it is precisely the work with the shade that decides the result: an area is played out with lighter and darker tones, a dark wash into the corners and dust near the ground. It will serve well on crates, cans, tarpaulins and personal equipment too.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; otherwise settled pigment covers unevenly. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use a thinner intended for this range. Apply in several weak coats instead of one heavy one, so that the texture of the surface stays legible. Work in a well ventilated space and close the container carefully after use.
The paint alone is supplied. A model, thinner, brushes and other shades are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
