About product

Waterline marking for ships and submarines - 0.8 mm wide (Quinta Studio)

This is an aid for building ship models, not a model. The package contains a self-adhesive strip 0.8 mm wide and 2820 mm long with which you mark an accurate, straight waterline on a hull. The widest 0.8 mm version is meant for large models and the boldest lines.

Use

  • Clean and degrease the hull so that the strip holds well.
  • Lay the strip along the intended waterline; its flexibility lets it follow the curve of the hull.
  • Use the strip as a guide when masking and painting the underwater and above-water parts.
  • Leave it in place as the final marking if you wish, or take it off once the paint is on.

Who it is for

  • Builders of ship and submarine models who want a straight, clean waterline.
  • Modelers working with waterline and full-hull models in various scales.

The accessory is universal for models of various brands. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
