A pen from the RC Marker range in the shade listed as a base for wood. Wood is not painted on a model with one color: you start with an even base tone and only on it do the grain, the darker seams and the lighter worn areas appear. This pen takes care of exactly that first step, and the tip lays the paint down directly, so palette and mixing are not needed.
On crates, barrels and pallets, on tool handles, on the wooden parts of vehicles and ships, on gun stocks, on benches and beams in a diorama. It fits anywhere small areas are involved, where preparing paint would take more time than the painting itself. Wooden accessories are moreover scattered one by one over a model, so a modeler returns to them repeatedly, and a ready-made pen in the hand saves washing a brush every time.
What is supplied is the pen in the stated shade. A model, other shades, stains and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the pen out of the reach of children.
