The acrylic modeling paint Tamiya X-12 Gold Leaf from the Tamiya Acrylic Mini range of water-thinnable acrylics in a package of 10 ml. It is a metallic gold shade with fine metal particles and a gloss finish, as the X range has a gloss surface. The paint can be applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; before it dries it can be washed off with water, and for spraying it is thinned with acrylic thinner.
Suitable for plastic modelers and collectors who need a metallic gold for details and decorations. It comes into play on figures, cars, aircraft and dioramas, for beginners as well as advanced builders. Metallic paints come into their own best on a smooth, well-prepared base; it is advisable to stir the paint before use so that the metal particles are dispersed.
Use in a well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children and away from open flame. Close the bottle tightly after use.
