Tamiya X-18 Semi Gloss Black (enamel paint, 10 ml)

The enamel modeling paint Tamiya X-18 Semi Gloss Black in a semi-gloss (satin) shade of black, supplied in a glass bottle of 10 ml. It is a solvent-based synthetic paint from the Tamiya Enamel range that can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush onto plastic, metal, wood and other materials. A semi-gloss surface is a practical compromise between a matte and a gloss black.

Use

• Painting small detail, instruments and accessories on models
• Tires and rubber parts, where a matte black looks too dry
• Base and priming coats under other shades
• Application with a brush on small areas and with an airbrush once thinned
• Suitable for plastic models, figures and modeling accessories

Who the paint is for

For modelers who work with enamel (solvent-based) paints and will appreciate a subtle semi-gloss black on both detail and larger areas. The paint can be thinned with enamel thinner; when spraying, adding thinner for the smooth running of an airbrush is recommended.

A solvent-based enamel paint, flammable and irritating. Use in a well ventilated space, protect your skin and eyes and keep out of reach of children and of sources of ignition. Close the container properly after use.
