A modeling accessory from the Top Studio brand. These are miniature rivets with a hex head 0.9 mm in diameter, which replace flat or missing imitations of bolts and rivets on a model. It is not a kit, but a set of small detailing parts for raising the realism.
Rivets with a hex head represent the bolts and fasteners on the body, the frame, the engine or the chassis. Type (A) denotes a particular shape of head in the Top Studio range. The largest of the usual sizes, 0.9 mm, suits robust, clearly discernible joints.
A fine hole is drilled in the model, the rivet is inserted and secured with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or an epoxy. Tweezers and spot application of the glue make the work easier. Once fitted, the parts can be sprayed over with paint as needed.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
