Responsibility details are not available.
The Sd.Kfz. 253 is a German light half-track armored vehicle of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the Sd.Kfz. 250 family. It differs from the related vehicles of the same family by a fully enclosed armored body with hatches in the roof: it did not serve to carry infantry but as the working station of artillery observers, who had to stay with the forward units and still have cover. This model captures the configuration that carries the turret of the Panzer I light tank.
The 1:100 scale is among the small ones. The finished vehicle fits into the palm of a hand, so a numerous column or a whole scene can be built from it on an area where a single machine would stand in a larger scale. That is precisely why whole units are collected in this scale, and less usual machines have their place in them. How many parts the model holds and how they go together are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little off the part and sand the rest back. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts: solvent cement applies to polystyrene, super glue to other materials. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. In a small scale it pays to keep the transitions gentle and to draw the detail out with a dark wash in the seams and a fine lightening of the edges rather than with pronounced shading of the surfaces.
Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
