An injection-molded plastic kit of the Honda NSR500 circuit racing motorcycle in 1:12 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The set captures the frame, the engine, the fairing and the wheels; the decals match the corresponding finish. The large 1:12 scale allows rich detail on the power unit and the chassis.
The Honda NSR500 was a works racing motorcycle of the premier 500 cc class of the road racing world championship. It was powered by a two-stroke four-cylinder engine and was among the most successful machines in the history of the category. A light frame, an aerodynamic fairing and high power put it at the top of its era.
Build and paint the frame and the engine separately, and mask the chrome and metal parts. Spray the fairing over primer and lay a gloss coat over it for a faithful racing look and for decal adhesion. Use liquid cement for plastic; the small parts of the power unit reward patience and fine shading.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
