A plastic kit of the Soviet light utility aircraft An-14 in 1:144 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The An-14 is a Soviet light utility aircraft nicknamed Pchelka. It is a twin-engine high-wing monoplane with piston engines, a strut-braced wing and twin vertical tails, designed to get by on short and unpaved strips. It served to carry a small number of people and cargo over short distances, that is where a larger transport aircraft is of no use.
It is a plastic kit in 1:144 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the exact number of parts, the content of the decal sheet and the color schemes offered are given in the manufacturer's instructions. In 1:144 scale the finished model is small, but it fits all the more easily into a display case beside larger machines and an airfield scene can be built from it too.
Separate the parts from the molding with a sharp blade or nippers, not by breaking them out, otherwise a piece of the surface will be torn away on thin parts. Sand the remains of the gates back with fine paper. Wash and degrease the model before painting. A small scale forgives less than it seems - apply the coats of paint thin, so that the engraved surface detail is not lost.
The kit will please collectors of aircraft of eastern design and everyone who builds a collection in a single 1:144 scale. Because of the size of the parts it suits a modeler who can already manage fine work and has tweezers and good light at hand.
Paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
