A detail cockpit set for the two-seat F-16I Sufa fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. It is a resin accessory that replaces the basic cockpit interior from a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed assembly: a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles, a seat and the control levers.
The F-16I Sufa is a two-seat variant of the F-16 derived from Block 52 and adapted for the Israeli Air Force. Its characteristic features are the additional conformal fuel tanks along the upper part of the fuselage, which markedly increase its range, and a range of domestic avionics systems. Sufa means storm in translation.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection while sanding. The interior comes into its own once painted and the details picked out gently with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
