1:144 Czechoslovak light pillbox LO 37A, 160X atypical is a resin kit of Czechoslovak light fortification (a ropik) from ROP o.s. for more experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin kit in the small 1:144 scale depicts the Czechoslovak light fortification object model 37 (the ropik) of type A, in the atypical variant designated 160X. The model is cast in resin; the contents of the package and the number of parts follow the manufacturer's particular set.
The light fortification model 37 (LO vz. 37) formed a continuous defensive line along the Czechoslovak border built in 1937 and 1938. Type A objects fired to the flanks with enfilading fire and were intended for machine-gun defense with a small crew. The designation atypical means a version adapted to the terrain; the code 160X distinguishes a variant close to the 160Z version.
Wash the parts to remove mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In this small scale work with fine tools and a magnifier. Concrete comes out well in gray tones with a wash and pigments, and the object can be set into a small diorama with trenches.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
