This photo-etched detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale holds German clamps and clasps of the late type, intended for securing tools and gear on the hulls of German vehicles of the Second World War. Fine metal parts replace the plastic clamps with a more accurate shape and allow separately made tools to be held realistically. It is not a model but an accessory.
Tools such as shovels, picks, pry bars and other gear were secured to German tanks and vehicles with metal clamps and clasps. Their late type differed in design from the earlier form and is a rewarding element for detailing a hull.
The set will be appreciated by builders of large models of German vehicles who want to secure the tools realistically. Working with small photo-etched clasps calls for a more experienced modeler.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
