Aber 1:16 Pz.Kpfw. IV, Ausf.H – air filters (Vol.10) is a photo-etched detail set of air filters for a large scale model of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains photo-etched and metal parts faithfully reproducing the air filters of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf.H (Sd.Kfz. 161/2) medium tank in 1:16 scale. It is the tenth part (Vol.10) of an extensive series of detail sets for this tank, not a model. It is made by the Polish company Aber.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV was the most widely used German medium tank of the Second World War; the Ausf.H version was among the most produced and carried the long 7.5 cm KwK 40 gun. The air filters were part of the engine and cooling system, and reproducing them faithfully raises the realism of the model.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them on a photo-etch bending tool or against a ruler. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or a special glue for photo-etched metal. Take care to place the parts correctly in relation to the engine compartment. Degrease the parts and apply a primer before painting.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
