Ladders are among the typical features of the decks and superstructures of warships and civilian ships alike. In a small scale the plastic version is as a rule oversized; the photo-etched variant lifts the level of detail considerably.
Nip the parts carefully from the fret, bend them along the scored lines where needed and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before gluing; once a primer has been laid down a dark wash will bring the rungs out.
