Responsibility details are not available.
This set of three figures of teenage girls from the manufacturer MAiM extends the range of civilian figures in 1:24 scale. Little groups of inhabitants are what turn a backdrop into a real town: three figures together make the natural knot of people you meet on every street.
Three figures work as a compositional whole, so place the girls in a gentle arc or a triangle and the scene gains a micro-story of an ordinary day. The set suits contemporary urban dioramas and pictures of a market, a yard or a street, in Middle Eastern as well as general civilian subjects. It also fills out military vehicles in a civilian context well, where the presence of inhabitants gives a scene scale and humanity.
Clean the castings up, wash them and prime them. With a group of figures it pays to think the color through in advance: give each figure its own dominant color of clothing so that the figures are told apart at a glance, and keep the palette in harmony. A fine wash and careful drybrushing of the edges will bring out the folds of the cloth.
The figures are supplied as unpainted castings to be cleaned up and painted. Props and a base are not included in the package.
