An injection-molded plastic kit of the racing Corolla Levin of the AE92 generation in the form for the Japanese touring car championship of the 1991 season, in the markings of a car supported by the Fujitsu Ten brand and entered by the TOMS team. The model comes from the Japanese maker Hasegawa, which has circuit Levins covered in a whole series of boxings differing in sponsor and model year. The Corolla Levin of the AE92 generation took part in the Japanese touring car championship in the lowest displacement division of up to 1600 cubic centimeters, where it fought its own battle with its rivals inside a field topped by far more powerful cars. The Group A rules were based on a production body, which racing modifications stripped of all comfort and completed with a roll cage, a shell seat, a hard chassis and wide wheels. The low displacement classes were among the most interesting to watch in Japanese circuit racing, because the cars ran very close together and on long lines. Colors with technology and electronics in the role of sponsor are typical of the Japanese scene of the time.
A circuit car is largely defined by its decals. Paint the base color as smoothly as possible, lay the decals onto a glossy surface and add a decal softener, so that they settle onto the edges of the sills and the fenders. The interior with its cage is clearly visible through the windows and it pays to work it out carefully; the metal parts of the cage can get a shade slightly different from the body. Mask the glazing in advance; on racing cars nets or tapes often appear, and they can be suggested with thin strips of decal. Add a hint of rubber pickup behind the fenders only sparingly, as circuit cars tend to be cleaner than rally ones.
