Humber Scout Car with a Vickers K machine gun 1:72 (Attack Hobby Kits, Hobby Line) - a simpler injection-molded kit of the British scout car. A plainer boxing accessible to a wider range of modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Humber Scout Car light reconnaissance vehicle in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Attack Hobby Kits, in the simpler Hobby Line form. Compared with the more richly equipped Profi line, Hobby Line builds above all on plastic parts, so it is plainer and more accessible to less experienced modelers as well. The vehicle is armed with a Vickers K machine gun (known as the K-Gun) on a roof mount.
The Humber Scout Car was a British light armored car introduced from 1942 and used until the end of the Second World War for reconnaissance and liaison between units. Its crew was two men (with an emergency place for a third), and its defensive armament was a Vickers K or a Bren machine gun, operated from inside the vehicle through a simple linkage. Thanks to its low silhouette and agility it was a typical reconnaissance machine of the Allied armies.
With a short-run mold, expect careful cleanup of flash and dry-fitting. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. A base coat (primer) is recommended, then an olive or sand shade depending on the theater and weathering with a wash in the recesses. Finish the chassis and the wheels with pigments and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
