A detail set of realistic fabric seat belts in 1:24 scale imitating the six-point racing belts of the Sabelt brand in a blue form. It is not a model but an accessory for the cockpit of a car or a formula racer. The belts are of fine cloth completed by miniature metal buckles and mounts, so on a finished seat they read as convincingly and as supply as a real strap.
Sabelt is an established maker of racing seat belts and seats. A six-point belt restrains the driver over the shoulders, the hips and between the legs and it is the standard in modern motorsport. Blue is among the popular variants with racing teams.
Assemble the belts according to the instructions, pull them through the metal buckles and fix them to the seat and to the frame of the interior. The fabric can be shaped so that it drapes naturally. Working with tweezers and cyanoacrylate glue is recommended.
