This product is neither a kit nor a finished model but a photo-etched metal set meant for detailing finished models of cars. It replaces the flat plastic discs with faithful metal brake discs in the drilled form, which is typical of the high-performance brakes of sports cars and modern GT cars.
The discs 12 mm in diameter are made up of fine photo-etched layers and are intended for models of passenger and sports cars in 1:24 scale. The perforated surface gives the wheels of a model the realistic look of lightened vented discs.
The layers of the disc are glued one onto another with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and the parts are separated with a sharp knife over a firm surface. It is worth degreasing the metal before painting and spraying it with a primer for metal.
It is supplied as a standalone photo-etched accessory. Glue, paints and the target model are not included in the package.
