An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the car line of the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. It faithfully reproduces the second generation of the Subaru BRZ sports coupe with the ZD8 code. The package offers a detailed engine and chassis, plated parts for the lights and the exhaust tip and masking stickers for painting. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Subaru BRZ is the first rear-wheel-drive model of the marque, which appeared on the market in 2012, and the second generation ZD8 arrived in 2021. It is powered by a 2.4 liter flat-four boxer engine with an output of around 235 horsepower. A low center of gravity, sharp steering and a balanced chassis make it a rewarding coupe to drive for enthusiasts.
Paint the body over a primer in thin coats and seal the gloss with a clear coat; the enclosed stickers make precise masking easier. Leave the plated parts uncovered and bring out the interior and the engine with a dark wash. Paint the wheels separately before the final assembly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
