An injection-molded plastic kit of the compact off-road vehicle Suzuki Jimny 1300 Custom of 1986, in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The body is usually molded in white plastic, and decals and a painting mask for the clear parts of the rear end and the roof are included. The model is assembled and painted.
The Suzuki Jimny is a legendary small off-roader with true four-wheel drive and a low-range transfer case, popular for its ability to move through demanding terrain in spite of its compact dimensions. The generation of the 1980s with the 1.3-liter engine widened the possibilities of this miniature off-roader to ordinary roads as well. The Custom version added extra equipment.
Use liquid cement on the plastic and spray the body with an airbrush. The off-road character is emphasized by pigments and washes that suggest dust and mud on the chassis and the lower areas. Glue the glazing only at the end with glue for clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
