A turned metal gun barrel from RB model as a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a detail accessory. The metal version guarantees a perfectly circular cross section and a sharp muzzle of the gun.
The Soviet 85mm gun with a gun barrel 54.6 calibers long was the main armament of the T-34/85 medium tank. The move from the 76 mm caliber to 85 mm markedly raised the firepower of the most widespread Soviet tank and kept it competitive against German vehicles in the closing stage of the war.
Clean the burrs off the metal part, degrease it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. For painting apply a metal primer, and only then the shade and the weathering. Metal holds the precise shape of the muzzle.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
