1:32 A-10C Thunderbolt II is a 3D textured set of instrument panels from Red Fox Studio on decal paper. It is laid on by soaking in water, like a decal, with no gluing and no sanding. The sheet is intended for the Trumpeter kit.

The Red Fox Studio set in 1:32 scale replaces a flat or crudely suggested instrument panel with a color print with a relief texture. The carrier is decal paper, so once soaked the panel is simply slid onto the base — no plastic cement, no finish sanding. The sheet is prepared for the parts of the Trumpeter kit.
The C version is the main reason this panel exists. The upgrade replaced a substantial part of the original analog gauges of the early version with color multi-function displays and new controls, so the cockpit looks markedly different from the older machines — a panel from the early version does not fit a model of the C version. The cockpit is also set into an armored bathtub, the seat sits high and the canopy is large and clean, so the interior is clearly visible from above as well. The panel is fairly tall and narrow, with a prominent area under the frame of the head-up display.
On this type the armored bathtub with the interior is a large separate block that has to be completely finished before the nose is closed up — later work is no longer possible. The procedure is therefore clear: assemble the tub, check its fit in the fuselage dry, paint it, let it cure, degrease it. Lay the panel on before the seat is installed, because that closes off access to the panel. Dose the decal softener by drops and let the finished print dry before you start on the glazing.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Check before ordering that it matches the kit and the version of the machine you are building.
