HGW – an armament set for the AEG G.IV in 1:32 scale. Brass photo-etched parts for a faithful treatment of the defensive armament of the German bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket set of brass photo-etched parts from HGW intended for detailing the armament of the plastic model of the German twin-engined bomber AEG G.IV in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory aimed at the movable machine guns, their mounts, their cooling jackets and the related elements that cannot be captured faithfully in injection molded plastic.
The AEG G.IV was a German twin-engined bomber of the First World War, used above all for tactical bombing. The crew was protected by movable Parabellum machine guns at the defensive positions. Faithfully treated armament is among the striking areas of large twin-engined models.
The fine cooling jackets of the machine guns are bent into a cylindrical shape along the scored lines. Use cyanoacrylate glue and paint the elements before they are fitted onto the model.
The aircraft kit itself is not included in the package. Glue, paints and tools are not enclosed.
