Mr. Base White 1000 is a white primer in a spray can of 180 ml. It levels out minor unevenness and creates a light base under the covering paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A primer does two jobs at once. First, it increases the adhesion of paint to plastic, to resin and to photo-etched metal, so that the finished coat cannot be lifted off with masking tape. Second, it evens out the base: over plastic, filler and differently colored kit parts the resulting shade would otherwise vary. The number in the name refers to the fineness, that is to how coarse an unevenness the coat can fill.
A white primer is necessary under shades that cover badly by themselves, that is under yellow, orange, red and light grays. Over a gray base these colors would need several times as many coats and would lose their saturation. With dark camouflage tones, by contrast, a gray primer tends to be more suitable.
The 180 ml contents are enough for a number of models. After application, let the primer dry thoroughly and only then sand it with the finest paper and spray the covering paint.
It is not a good idea to apply primer to parts that will be glued further with cement for polystyrene. That needs contact with bare plastic, otherwise the joint holds only mechanically.
